Deandre Ayton has been sensational for the Phoenix Suns in the 2021 NBA playoffs so far, and Chris Paul sure hopes the franchise knows what to do to reward the big man.

With the way he has played for the Suns throughout the 2020-21 season, particularly in the playoffs, Deandre Ayton has certainly set himself up for a nice payday that will also keep him in Arizona for the years to come. Chris Paul's endorsement should only help him in that regard as well.

In Game 4 against the Clippers, Ayton was phenomenal once again with a monster performance of 19 points and a game-high 22 rebounds. He also finished with three assists, one steal and four blocks in the contest, which proved to be crucial for the Suns to stop the LA comeback and win 84-80.

Sure enough, Ayton is probably not yet thinking about his rookie scale contract extension in the summer. He is playing in what could be said the biggest moment of his career, and as they move one  step closer to the NBA Finals, their focus is undoubtedly winning the next game at home.
