The Phoenix Suns have a future star in the making in shooting guard Devin Booker. Booker had a decent rookie year averaging just 13.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game. He started just two of his first 26 games in the NBA before the Suns made him a full-time starter in January. He started the final 44 games for Phoenix, averaging 18.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.8 assists, flashing just a bit of the potential he had.

His second year, he averaged 22.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists, which included a monster 70-point game against the Boston Celtics in a regular season game. He upped his averages in this past season, his third, to 24.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.7 assists.

It's only a matter of time until Booker becomes an All-Star, but one fan decided to tweet him and let him know his thoughts, saying he'll never be an All-Star. Booker responded in pretty good fashion.

Booker does play in a talent-loaded, competitive Western Conference, so it'll be tough for him to make an All-Star appearance as long as the Suns are bottom feeders in the Western Conference. Things are looking up, however, as the Suns not only have Booker, but they've seen some of their younger players improve over the last couple of seasons, and they've also got the number one overall pick in this 2018 NBA Draft.

When can the Suns start getting back on track and make the playoffs? Right now, it doesn't appear to be in the very near future, but the Suns are already off to a great start with the hiring of head coach Igor Kokoskov as well as their number one pick.
