Los Angeles Lakers center Tyson Chandler played in his first game for the team Wednesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves. His former teammate, Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns, reacted to Chandler's first game as a Laker.

In fact, Tyson Chandler played in clutch moments and came up big for the team in those moments with strong defense and rebounding, which is a very promising sign for the Lakers. Chandler has had barely any practice time and he seems to fit in very well already.

Chandler finished with nine rebounds (five offensive) and two points off the bench. He came up with some clutch offensive rebounds in the last two minutes of the game to ice the game as Derrick Rose and the Wolves were making a run.

One would assume Chandler will be one of the first players coming off the bench right now throughout the season, especially if he makes this type of impact on the team.

Booker and the Suns will surely miss Chandler and his veteran presence. He is one of the most well-respected veterans in the league and should do wonders for this young Lakers team.

Tyson Chandler just may “save” the Lakers, just like how Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye “saved” the Cleveland Cavaliers' season back in 2016.

Veterans know how to bring chemistry to the team, and this Lakers team needs to develop just that. Los Angeles moved to 5-6 on the season with its win over Minnesota. Hopefully for the Lakers, this is the start of a run up the standings.
