While the Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks take aim in the NBA Finals, there may not have been a bigger story off the court then that of the “Suns in 4” guy.
The “Suns in 4” guy went viral after getting in a brawl with a Denver Nuggets fan during their playoff series earlier on in the postseason. After beating up the Nuggets fan who instigated the fight, the fan held up four fingers and simply said, “Suns in 4.”
Now, ironically enough, Nuggets point guard Jamal Murray and the “Suns in 4” guy were kicking it after Game 1 of the NBA Finals.
It can't be much worse for that Nuggets fan. He gets beat up in a viral video by a Suns fan. That fan then goes mega viral. The Nuggets lose the series, so his team is eliminated. Now the team he cheers for, their point guard is partying it up with the Suns fan that beat the hell out of him. To pour salt into the wound, Phoenix did end up winning the series in four games against Denver. That's just a tough scene all the way around.
Jamal Murray seemed to reference what he was saying to the fan in the now viral video.
The joyride has continued on for Phoenix as they currently lead the NBA Finals 1-0 over the Bucks and are now just three wins away from being world champions.
While “Suns in 4” guy is enjoying the viral fame as much as anyone, what would really put a bow on the show is Phoenix winning it all. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks figure to have something to say about that.
