Devin Booker is the future of the Phoenix Suns. His smooth shooting stroke is a hallmark of his game, but a recent video shows that Booker can do it with his left hand almost as well as with his right.

Booker is working his way back to the Suns after having surgery on his shooting hand. That explains why he is seen here hoisting shots up with his left. The Suns are not worried about this injury lingering and there is no desire to rush Booker back before he's ready.

The natural right-handed shooter was seen draining a couple deep threes with his off hand at practice. This is even more proof for NBA fans sitting on their coach saying, “I could shoot better than that guy.” This is a player who is just casually swishing threes with his left hand. Sure, it looks a little more awkward than his natural shooting stroke, but it's better than the average joe who shoots with his dominant hand.

Booker, 21, is one of the brightest young stars in the league and this is the year where he hopes to enter the conversation among the league's best. He's yet to make an All-Star Game or be named to an All-NBA team, but he should be in the conversation soon if he continues to improve. Booker averaged just under 25 points per game last season and he's one of the best pure scorers in the league.

He will take on more responsibility as a ballhandler and facilitator this season, but his scoring average should still be among the league's best.
