Team USA bounced back from a shocking loss to France in their Tokyo Olympics opener with a massive 120-66 win over Iran on Wednesday. The whole squad was thriving, but of course, Draymond Green received some hate for a specific play in the first quarter:

Okay, to be fair, he did pass up a dunk. But, after dishing it out the perimeter, it led to a wide-open three. The Twitter heroes quickly criticized Draymond Green and he even fired back at the page that put up the video in the first place:

Here are some of the reactions to the play as well:

We know that Draymond Green is a pass-first type player. He's never been known for much of a scorer and when he's surrounded by sharpshooters like Kevin Durant and Damian Lillard, it's understandable why he passed the rock in this situation.

While it did seem like it was an easy bucket for the Warriors veteran, we're in a day and age where teams opt to shoot threes. That's just how the game is now. The haters can talk, but Draymond Green won't care. His Team USA is back on track and he played his part with five points, four boards, and four assists.
