Boston Celtics small forward Jayson Tatum is “pissed” he missed the second of three free throws for Team USA on Tuesday against Turkey.

Tatum was fouled by Cedi Osman with USA down 81-79. The Celtics forward made the first, missed the second, and made the third to send the game into overtime, where Team USA won by a final score of 93-92.

Tatum is upset he didn't make all three free-throws in regulation. Team USA would have won in regulation and Tatum wouldn't have sprained his ankle. The swingman hurt himself in overtime and had to leave the game.

“I wasn’t nervous. I’m still pissed I missed the second one, then I wouldn’t have got hurt,” Tatum said postgame, via John Karalis of Mass Live. “We won. Glad I was able to help give us some extra time and extend the game. As long as we win, that’s all that I care about.”

Tatum finished with 11 points in 31 minutes of action, but he shot just 3-of-11 from the field.

Team USA was led in scoring by Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton, who poured in 15 points. Tatum's Celtics teammate, Kemba Walker, finished with 14 points.

This Team USA roster lacks superstar power and it showed on Tuesday versus Turkey. But like Tatum says, all that matters is USA was able to find a way to win the game.
