Colin Kaepernick held a workout for NFL teams and by all accounts, the workout went well and he showed he still has the arm to play in the NFL. It's unclear if there are teams who are going to bring him in for another workout or sign him, but there are some teams who would get a lot better by bringing in Kaepernick. Let's breakdown a couple of teams that should sign Kap.

Chicago Bears

By now it's been made pretty clear that Mitchell Trubisky cannot be the long-term option in Chicago, and there is a very good chance that the team could bring in someone this offseason. There has been a lot of rumors about the team going after Cam Newton this offseason, but the best thing could be for the team to bring in Kaepernick now.

Maybe all Trubisky needs is a little pushing from a backup to put some pressure on him to improve his play. If the play didn't improve the Bears could start Kaepernick the last couple weeks of the season to see if he is a long term option for the team.

Baltimore Ravens

There is no doubt Lamar Jackson is one of better quarterbacks in the league and the legs are a big reason that he is so special. This is a system that is made for a running quarterback and the backup is currently Robert Griffin III.

Kaepernick is a mobile quarterback that could fit the system and be a good replacement to run the system if Jackson was to go down with an injury.

Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos have been looking for a long term option at quarterback since Peyton Manning retired and they still haven't found it. General manager John Elway tried to trade for Kaepernick at one point so it's clear there was at least some level of interest in having him be the quarterback.

The Broncos struggle to find a quarterback really can't get much worse, so it would make a lot of sense for the team to bring him in to see if he could be the long-term option.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers are going to need to find a quarterback after Big Ben retires and Mason Rudolph has made it clear with his play, that he isn't going to be it.

Mike Tomlin also seems like a perfect coach to deal with everything else that would come along with signing Kaepernick to their squad. Maybe Kaepernick can be the long-term option in Pittsburgh.
