History was made at Wimbledon on Tuesday. British tennis player Cameron Norrie outlasted David Goffin in five, hard-fought sets, becoming the second active British man to advance to the Wimbledon semifinal, along with two-time champ Andy Murray. The crowd at the All-England Club went ballistic. After the match, Norrie was asked “how that felt” and his reaction was perfect, via Wimbledon's account on Twitter.

Norrie said that he's “speechless.” Of course, part of why he couldn't find any words is because the Wimbledon crowd was so overjoyed at what he had just accomplished. They showered him with “Norrie” chants.

Norrie became the fourth British man in the Open Era to make it to the Wimbledon semifinal, along with Murray, Tim Henman and Roger Taylor, per ESPN Stats and Info.

During the match, a struggling Norrie implored the crowd to get behind him, which they did- in numbers. In an emotional moment, the Brit thanked the crowd for helping him get back into the match.

The 26-year-old, who turned pro in 2017, had never made it past the third round at any major in his career, so this Wimbledon run to the semifinal is a milestone achievement for his career as an individual as well.

However, Norrie will be up for a very tough test in the semifinal against six-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic. Having just completed a comeback from two sets down, The Djoker is rolling into Centre Court with a considerable amount of momentum.

But with the crowd fully behind Norrie, there could be enough energy to power him to the final.
