C.J. Stroud does it again as he leads the Houston Texans to a massive win over the Cincinnati Bengals. He's playing out of his mind and looks like a front-runner for Rookie of the Year right now.

However, buzz is starting to circulate for Stroud to be in the MVP conversation. Even ESPN's Adam Schefter is on board with the idea. And when you look at his stats in Monday's game, it's hard to argue against.

“C.J. Stroud has entered the MVP conversation.”

Sunday's matchup against the Bengals was a roller coaster. But the Texans got the job done. Stroud led his team down the field in the closing seconds and got Houston in field goal position. They hit the game-winning field goal and all eyes are on Stroud.

Stroud finished the day with 356 passing yards, one touchdown, and one interception. He also ran in a touchdown and totaled eight rushing yards. The Texans seemingly have a franchise quarterback and look like big winners after trading Deshaun Watson to the Cleveland Browns.

That's massive for Houston, as they they'll have an opportunity to build around their superstar quarterback right away. It's a huge advantage, as Stroud will be on his rookie contract for several more years. The Texans can spend money to build a true contender and not have to worry about paying Stroud for quite sometime.

We'll see how the rest of the season plays out. The Texans improve to 5-4 on the season and are in the mix of the playoff race. With C.J. Stroud balling out right now, they have just as good of a shot as anybody.
