As the question continues to evolve from if to when Deshaun Watson will be traded from the Houston Texans, a new question arises—which teams will be interested in the star quarterback's services?

One team seems to be leading the pack, and it's one that, while many have speculated on, is still a bit of a surprise.

According to Adam Schefter and Chris Mortensen in ESPN, one team that would be acceptable to Watson would be the Miami Dolphins.

A source close to Watson told Mortensen that the Dolphins remain prominent as an acceptable landing spot because the quarterback likes the culture he has observed under Miami head coach Brian Flores and there are no state income taxes in Florida.

The big question regarding this potential trade partner, obviously, is how it impacts 2020 NFL Draft's No. 5 overall pick Tua Tagovailoa and his future with Miami. Would the Texans trade Watson for Tagovailoa and other pieces? Would the Dolphins want to get rid of Tua for a more seasoned signal-caller? These are the questions that stand in the way of a potential deal being made.

According to ESPN, the Texans' front office is having internal conversations about potential trade partners and what their quarterback position would look like without Watson. The simple answer may be staring them right in the face with Watson's desired destination. A straight-up trade for Tagovailoa, potentially with some other pieces moving, could be exactly what both organizations need. The Dolphins get a more experienced quarterback to lead the team to the next level, while the Texans get a young play-caller with a lot of upside around which to rebuild.

Pieces are still moving, but at this point, especially with Watson's no-trade clause giving him extra leverage in where he goes, the ball is squarely in the Dolphins' court on if they are willing to part ways with Tagovailoa.
