Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Billy Donovan says Andre Roberson has been going through individual workouts since coming back to OKC.

Roberson has yet to play this season for the Thunder because of the knee injury which sidelined him all of last season.

No one really knows when Roberson is going to play again for the Thunder. Roberson has had some bad luck as he recovers from a ruptured left patellar tendon suffered during the 2017-18 season. The Thunder swingman sustained two setbacks in his left knee to derail his comeback last season.

Roberson’s impact on the game is mostly on the defensive end of the floor. He is one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA, as he made the 2017 All-Defensive team. Roberson signed a three-year, $30 million deal with the Thunder back in 2017.

In 295 games with the Thunder, Roberson has career averages of 4.6 points and 4.0 rebounds while shooting 48.2 percent from the field, 25.7 percent from beyond the arc and 46.7 percent from the free-throw line. He was the 26th overall pick in the 2013 NBA Draft out of Colorado by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The Thunder are 36-22 on the season. They are in fifth place in the Western Conference standings. While it would be a great story to see Roberson return for the postseason, no one in OKC is really expecting that to happen.

At this point, whenever Roberson does play again, Thunder fans will be shocked to see the forward on the court.
