The Oklahoma City Thunder and New York Knicks face off against each other and Saturday, and Carmelo Anthony has feelings.

The former Knicks star will make his return to New York since forcing a trade to the Thunder over the summer. Boos will rain down, surely, when Anthony gets introduced in his former home arena, but he doesn't seem too concerned.

Anthony acknowledged that New York holds a special place in his heart, and he's looking forward to playing there again, per Michael Lee of Yahoo Sports.

“At the end of the day, it’s business to me. But I’d be lying if I said I’m not ecstatic to be going back and playing there,” Anthony said. “Like I said, I got a different feeling with New York. A different relationship, different bond with the city, with the fans, with the people. It’s a little bit special for me.”

Anthony spent several years in New York as a player, and is a native of the city. He had plenty of good moments there, as well as his fair share of forgettable moments.

But for Anthony, New York is home. Yes, he asked for a trade. Yes, he didn't accomplish what he set out to while there.

However, his return to that city won't be like others in the NBA. There will be boos, but don't be surprised if the majority of the crowd welcomes him back with open arms.
