Plenty of NBA fans are happy that the league's super team era is seemingly over. Oklahoma City Thunder guard Chris Paul chimes in with the fans in agreement. He also believes that the uncertainty of the coming season does nothing but provide exciting basketball games to the league.

The nine-time All-Star and future Hall Of Famer sat down with ESPN in time for the Body Issue. and talked about everything that has to do with himself and basketball. He was recruited as one of the athletes to pose for the oft-celebrated issue of the sports magazine.

He had nothing but great words to say about the shakeup that took place over the summer:

“To say the least. This summer's been interesting. There's been a lot of player movement, and it's great for our league. No offense to baseball or football, but our game is so crazy that even when we're out of season, we're still the leading topic night in and night out.”

Paul spent his peak years during a time that super team era was in full swing. He began playing some of his best seasons around the time Ray Allen and Kevin Garnett teamed up with Paul Pierce to form the Boston Big Three.

He also tried making his own super team by joining Kobe Bryant in Los Angeles back in 2011. However, ex-commissioner David Stern made a controversial veto that saw him end up in the blue and white colors of the Clippers.

He spent plenty of great years with Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan, introducing the world to Lob City. However, their run didn't produce playoff results as they never got past the second round of the Western Conference playoffs. He then moved on to Houston in 2017 where he had two successful but turbulent years with James Harden.

Now that he is in the closing stages of his career, Paul may look to move to a contender or mentor the young Thunder team. Either way, Paul is right: the NBA will be a great watch come October.
