Some concerns were raised about players potentially taking advantage of being quarantined together inside the Disney World bubble to discuss the possibility of forming superteams in the near future. While this has been a relatively much-talked about subject of late, Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Chris Paul has come out to dismiss such claims.

According to Paul, who also happens to be the current president of the National Basketball Players Association, this is one of the last things in their minds as they all work to promote the fight for social justice:

Well said, Chris.

To Paul's credit, he has been very active in ensuring that the players remain active in the socio-political sphere. It is also worth mentioning that he served as one of the key figures that worked extremely hard to make the bubble idea come to fruition.

Chris Paul and the Thunder were in action on Wednesday, as they took down the top-seeded Los Angeles Lakers, 105-86. Paul led the Thunder with a game-high 21 points (on 8-of-12 shooting), seven rebounds, six assists and a steal in 31 minutes of action.

This win has placed Oklahoma City on the fifth spot in the conference, tied with the Houston Rockets. The Thunder are also just half a game behind the fourth-seeded Utah Jazz, who also won on Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies.

At this point, OKC have a tremendous opportunity to secure home court advantage in the playoffs — for whatever that's worth at this point.
