Russell Westbrook is known for his competitive hunger and never say die mentality, even when the odds are against him. The Oklahoma City Thunder guard is a beast on the court, but also off the court, especially when it comes to the fashion game.
The National Basketball Players Association has awarded Westbrook ‘The Freshest' award on Thursday afternoon for his crazed and eye-popping fashion sense.

Westbrook led his Thunder to another postseason appearance this year while also averaging a triple double for the second consecutive season at 25.4 points, 10.1 rebounds, and 10.3 assists. He did all this while rocking unique and different looks to all 82 games.
Who inspired these looks Westbrook wears nowadays? He says it's his mom who, from he was a kid, told him to wear whatever he wanted.
“When I was younger, [my mom] always made sure I had all the new stuff, at least whatever we could afford. Made sure I was fresh. She always told me to wear what you feel, wear what you want — who cares? Who cares what other people think?”
