Russell Westbrook has made it a mission to work on his catch-and-shoot game, determined to take less 3-pointers off the dribble, many of which Oklahoma City Thunder fans have watched with disgust throughout the years, as thousands of misses clanked off the rim.

The 2017 league MVP was seen balling it up at one of Rico Hines's UCLA runs alongside others from the league, including James Harden, Paul George, Austin Rivers, Kevon Looney, and Buddy Hield.

Westbrook is seen taking many passes from Rivers and drilling three after three with deft precision, while not losing his hard-slashing ways and finishing strong close to the rim.

The last few seconds of the video still show that Westbrook still hasn't fully shaken off his propensity to pull up from deep, but as long as those are limited and deemed necessary, fans are unlikely to complain.

Westbrook saw his best season shooting the three during his MVP run on 2016-17, managing a mere 34.3 percent from deep.

That percentage went down considerably in 2017-18, making only 29.8 percent of his attempts from long-range despite marginally decreasing the number of shots he took from beyond the arc by more than 250 attempts.

If Brodie manages to contain himself to only catch-and-shoot opportunities, it will not only be less-taxing on his legs, but it will provide him with better control and accuracy, while still giving him the option to drive past his opponents with unmatched explosiveness.
