Against the Memphis Grizzlies in his first NBA playoffs match, Anthony Edwards went off for the Timberwolves. He scored 36 huge points to lead the way for a clutch win. After the game, Ant was asked why he enjoyed playing against Memphis, and he said: (via Jon Krawczynski)

“Because they talk so much trash. Even the kids. The kids was the worst ones. Even eight years old, 10 years old, ‘Anthony go sit down! You suck!’ It’s just fun. Basketball is fun to me. I love it.”

On a serious note, Edwards does seem like the type of player who feeds off the crowd's energy. Whether it's a hostile environment like an away game or the cheering of his home, the Timberwolves star plays up to the audience. That kind of energy builds superstars out of thin air.
