During their time as teammates with the Chicago Bulls, Dwyane Wade and Jimmy Butler formed a strong bond and a good relationship. Being the veterans of a young squad, and both of them products of Marquette, it did not take long for now-Miami Heat star and Minnesota Timberwolves leader to spend a lot of time together on and off the court, on their way to becoming good friends.

Even now that they are playing for different teams already, Wade and Butler still treat each other the same way, and they continue to have fun despite not wearing the same jersey anymore.

Just recently, Wade trolled Butler on Instagram, after the latter posted a photo of himself while rehabilitating his knee. He captioned it with a promise that he'll be back stronger than ever, before the 15-year veteran commented by reminding him that his injury is just a minor tear, and not that serious.

Butler has been on the shelf since the Timberwolves' first game after the All-Star break after he suffered a meniscus tear against the Houston Rockets. He immediately underwent surgery and is currently working hard to make a return to the court before the regular season ends. He was given a four to six-week timetable, which will make him available for his team in time for the playoffs.

The trolling Wade made only goes to show that the friendship between him and Butler is beyond their time as teammates last season. It also proves that they still share that strong bond, and respect one another as well, despite being with different teams now.
