The Minnesota Timberwolves reportedly haven't contacted any potential executives or coaches as possible replacements for general manager Scott Layden and interim head coach Ryan Saunders, according to Jon Krawczynski of The Atheltic.

Ryan Saunders took over for Tom Thibodeau in January after Minnesota fired Thibs. Ryan is the son of the late Flip Saunders. The Timberwolves have gone 8-9 under Ryan and are 27-30 overall on the season, good for 11th place in the Western Conference standings.

Minnesota has a shot at making the postseason, but they have to go on a serious run in the second half of the season and get some help from other teams. Former Chicago Bulls head coach Fred Hoiberg is name which has been linked to the Timberwolves. He's a guy to keep an eye on during the offseason.
