In NBA.com's survey polling all 30 NBA general managers, the select few responded to 47 different questions about the best teams, players, coaches, fans, and offseason moves. The GMs voted Karl-Anthony Towns as the player they'd pick to build a franchise around, leading a tight race with 29 percent over Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (21 percent), Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James (18 percent), San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard (14 percent), and Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant (11 percent).

These GMs were not allowed to vote for their own team or personnel. The percentages shown are purely based on the pool of respondents who answered that particular question, rather than a total from the 30 polled executives.
