Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Patrick Beverley has long been known as a pesky defender. He takes pride in getting under the skin of his opponent, putting them on tilt. Well, apparently that has rubbed off on his eldest daughter, Adlaia. Beverley revealed a series of text messages between he and his daughter that's sure to make you laugh.

Bleacher report tweeted out the text exchange between the Timberwolves star and Adlaia Beverley.

“Daddy, I drop 14 points,” his daughter texted. “Right that way baby. Love that,” responded Beverley. “Oh and I also have an technical foul,” she said. Beverley then asked “What u say to get a tech?”

“Well… the girls kept pushing me and my back but the ref didn't see. And I don't get down like that. So, I turned around and started yelling in her face but when I got back in the game I scored 10 points.”

Beverley clearly showed his sign of approval. “It's cool apart of the game. Keep having fun (with a heart emoji).”

Apparently, Beverley's style of play rubbed off on his kin.

If what Adlaia claimed was the case, it's hard to blame her for what she did to get that technical foul called. She didn't back down and showed some of that fire that the Timberwolves star has long been known for on the basketball court.
