Tony Parker felt as though he saw a ghost when the French National team played their final 2016 Rio Olympics tournament game against Spain.

The Spanish National team put France away handily on Wednesday, and Pau Gasol gave his opponent and new teammate Parker respect after the game.

Parker on the other hand told reporters he understand what the Spurs‘ opponents feel like now.

While it may benefit Parker later, the Spurs' style of play was the main proponent in picking apart France in the tournament. Moving the ball, spreading the floor and executing their offense beautifully.

The Spanish National team scored on 71 percent of their points via assists lead by each member of their starting five.

Gasol who is starting to warm up, but not yet completely, scored only five points, but added eight rebounds, three assists, and three blocks.

Afterwards, Gasol also gave a tribute of respect to his new teammate Parker on his Instagram page.
