UFC 303 and the return of “The Notorious” Conor McGregor vs. Michael Chandler is a little over a month away and these two are in the middle of their fight camps, as they come into the most anticipated fight of the summer. However, Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler are taking very different approaches to their fight camp leading up to this fight.

McGregor could be seen here living his best life partying it up with his wife and others on a night out at his establishment, The Black Forge Inn in Dublin, Ireland. He has stated that is taking this training camp seriously, even showing his will to cut down on his alcohol intake via an interview with The Mac Life:

As many fight fans out there, they have taken what McGregor says with a grain of salt, and seeing him partying it up over the Memorial Day weekend shows that he could be taking “Iron” Michael Chandler and this fight lightly in his first fight back inside the Octagon since July 2021.

As for Michael Chandler, he is one that you could never question his work ethic. He may not have had great success inside the Octagon with just a 2-3 record. There is never a fight that Chandler comes in not prepared to go to war. His Instagram shows that he has been putting in the work over in Kill Cliff FC in Deerfield Beach, Florida loaded with a bunch of killers.

Daniel Cormier: “If he [Conor McGregor] gets through Michael Chandler give him a title fight”

There is a lot at stake here in this main event fight at UFC 303 between Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler. A win for either of these two fighters could put them on the fast track to a title fight because Islam Makhachev has cleaned out most of the top of the lightweight division if he gets past Dustin Poirier at UFC 302.

Daniel Cormier believes that if Conor McGregor does indeed get past Michael Chandler he should skip the line ahead of Arman Tsarukyan and get a title shot.

We are gearing up for a great main event at International Fight Week with Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler finally laying it all on the line in the Octagon. This is certainly one spectacle all fight fans will not want to miss!
