After Conor McGregor had to bow out of his main event match against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, many have started to question how much gas is left in the tank and how he will recover from his injury.

McGregor broke his leg right near the end of round one against Poirier in gruesome fashion as he crumbled to the ground. The fight was called right as the clock hit 0:00.

Conor McGregor has already had the procedure needed to tend to his broken leg and on Thursday, he posted a video detailing a stress fracture that he had going into the fight.

Conor McGregor claims he had multiple stress fractures going into the battle and that he had considered having the fight pushed back so that he could heal. One would think knowing he had that injury that he would perhaps change up his game plan going into the fight instead of pumping out all the early kicks that he did. The superstar fighter claims others knew about the stress fractures as well.

“Ask Dana White, ask the UFC…they knew I had stress fractures in my leg going into that cage…I had multiple stress fractures in the shin bone above the ankle.”

Now, McGregor says he has a titanium rod in his leg as a result of the injury he suffered against Poirier. When he will be seen next in the cage is a complete guessing game at this point as he will have to rest and recover during his rehab process before getting back into any sort of fighting shape.

Love him or hate him one thing that can't be disputed, Conor McGregor is an entertainment factory and better for UFC when he's healthy and in the octagon.
