For interested teams still needing a wide receiver, former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant seems ready to catch some footballs and score touchdowns in the 2021 season. He showed just that on Tuesday  … though not in the gridiron but during the US Open in Arthur Ashe instead.

After Tuesday's US Open showdown that saw Alexander Zverev take down American tennis star Sam Querrey in straight sets, the former treated the crowd in attendance with some autographed tennis balls. In a rather amusing moment, the German star linked up with Bryant–who was among the audience–and threw a ball at him.

Of course Bryant caught it perfectly before the two athletes acknowledged each other.

It was undoubtedly quite a day for Dez Bryant in the US Open. After all, not only did he get a memorabilia from one of the best young tennis stars in today's game, but he apparently also went to the Emirates Suite at the stadium following the game and joined VIPs like NHL star Jacob Trouba, popular fashion designer Christian Siriano, and  New York Yankees center fielder Aaron Hicks among a few, per Page Six.

While Bryant remains a free agent, it certainly looks like he is enjoying his offseason like his peers in the NFL.
