Iso nerfs are coming to Valorant Patch 9.00. Let's dive into the details.

Patch 9.00 Is Coming With Iso Nerfs

Valorant patch 8.11 has brought us the new map Abyss, and players have been loving it so far. We are already seeing different kinds of lineups, tricks, and abilities being used creatively on the map. Along with the map, the patch included nerfs for agents Raze and Clove, as well as buffs for some duelists.

As of now, there are no major reactions toward these agent changes except for one agent, Iso. The Valorant community has been making some noise about the recent changes to Iso and demanding that he needs to get some nerfs. Players are saying that Iso has become so powerful and it's making the game unbalanced. What's interesting is that players have been complaining about Iso so much, that even Iso mains are agreeing that this shouldn't be the case. The agent used to be one of the worst-performing Valorant agents, but after patch 8.11, he became one of the fan favorites.

In response to the community's feedback, Riot Games is preparing to release another patch, less than a month after 8.11. This upcoming patch, 9.00, is set to address the concerns about Iso.

Riot Games developer @penguinVALORANT confirms on an X post that Iso will be getting some nerfs this coming Valorant patch. The post reads:

We have an upcoming Iso change planned for 9.00:

– Removing the two-kill reset on his E

– Reducing the duration of his E from 20s > 12s

Removing the reset gives Iso just one activation, and reducing the duration should create a clearer window for opponents to deny him fights.

These changes aim to ensure that the game remains balanced. Receiving these nerfs, especially the decrease in the duration of Iso's shield, should level the playing field once more.

However, console players would have to deal with Iso's overpowered state a bit longer than PC players. Penguin revealed that with the launch of Patch 9.01, they will implement Iso's nerfs and fix the bug for Neon's slide equip issue.

Valorant will release Patch 9.00 on Tuesday, June 25, 2024. However, the release date for Patch 9.01 has yet to be confirmed.

This concludes all the information we have on the upcoming nerf on Iso this patch 9.00.
