We have good news and bad news. The good news is, we got a new Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong cinematic trailer, which introduces us to Galeb, one of the three protagonists of the game. The bad news is, the trailer also revealed Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong‘s release date.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong Release Date

We finally have a release date. However, as opposed to the 2021 release date originally promised, Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong‘s release date has been revealed to be on February 2022. We don't have an exact date yet. However, we know that it will come out simultaneously on PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Nintendo Switch.

In the cinematic trailer, we see Galeb, an intimidating person who belongs to the Vampire clan of Ventrue. He laments about his longevity before disinterestedly killing a person using telepathy. He's one of the three playable characters in Vampire: The Masquerade – Swansong. As the vampire sect of Camarilla seeks to enforce The Masquerade – the practice of hiding one's vampirism from humans with the punishment of death to violators – Galeb and two other vampires – Emem of clan Toreador, and Leysha of clan Malkavian, set out to investigate conspiracies revolving around the Camarilla.

Set in a fictionalized Boston in the World of Darkness, Swansong plays out in a world where vampires co-exist with humans. However, ever since the Fall of London, Vampires have become more protective of their identity and have since focused more on survival. Will your actions help in the cauldron's survival?
