Rudy Gay of the San Antonio Spurs showed off his athleticism and perfect timing as he blocked Josh Jackson of the Phoenix Suns.

Per the video posted by Bleacher Report, Jackson thought he had an easy slam after faking out Patty Mills. But then, Gay rotated quickly and had the presence of mind to prepare for a possible slam dunk.

Gay did not just get the block. He got the rebound as well, ran the entire length of the court, and finished it off with a layup. In their 111-86 win over the Suns on Tuesday, Gay chipped in 13 points, four rebounds, two assists, and one block.

Teammate Bryn Forbes had a game-high with 24 points, along with 11 rebounds. He was red hot from downtown as he shot a perfect 5-of-5. Star guard DeMar DeRozan had a rough night as finished with just five points in 26 minutes. The win puts the Spurs' record at 14-14. They have won three straight games and have a chance to extend their streak when they host the LA Clippers on Thursday.

The Suns, meanwhile, have lost 10 straight games and are currently the worst team in the league with just four wins. They are still without star guard Devin Booker who has missed five straight games due to a left hamstring strain. The Suns will host the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.
