The Minnesota Vikings do not lack for talent, especially on the offensive side of the football. Well, on Tuesday, their offensive skill increased a little bit more. According to ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter, the Vikings have signed former Miami Dolphins receiver Albert Wilson to a one-year contract.

Wilson made his name as a speed burner when he came into the league in 2014 with the Kansas City Chiefs. Four of his first five seasons in the NFL, Wilson averaged between 13 and 16.3 yards per catch.
Article Continues BelowWilson spent the last few seasons in Miami. Even though he did not get a ton of playing time, when he did get on the field, he usually could make an impact. His last two seasons, his production were near career-lows, but much of that had to do with the inability of Dolphins quarterbacks to get the ball down the field accurately.
The Vikings already have All-Pro receiver Justin Jefferson and Pro Bowl wideout Adam Thielen as their top two weapons. K.J. Osborn once again showed promise last season. But Wilson should make a nice addition to help draw deep coverage. That should allow both Jefferson and Thielen to find a bit more space underneath on crossing routes, curls and deep slants.
Minnesota also boasts one of the best rushing attacks in the NFL behind Dalvin Cook. Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins is coming off one of the best seasons of his career. With the Green Bay Packers seemingly taking a step back after losing some key players, the NFC North division could be up for grabs this year.
