For the Golden State Warriors, they need everything to go smoothly from here on out. The Warriors are fighting for their lives as we enter the final stretch of the regular season, currently in 10th place in the Western Conference. However, former NBA player Andrew Bogut, claims that Kelly Oubre Jr. has created a stir in the locker room.

Not too long ago, Oubre mentioned how he doesn't view himself as a bench player for the Warriors. He wants to be a starter in the league while also remaining a part of Golden State's organization, per NBC Sports.

According to Bogut, Oubre's comments caused a rift in the Warriors locker room.

“Now I'm not gonna name the player, but I've heard the Warriors players didn't take too lightly to those comments,” Bogut said on his latest ‘Rogue Bogues' podcast. “They basically made it pretty known that Andre Iguodala, a Finals MVP, was OK coming off the bench, but we have Kelly motherf–king Oubre who won't.”

Oubre Jr. seemingly responded to Bogut's remarks via social media.

Essentially, Oubre is saying Bogut is full of it without directly saying it.

Head coach Steve Kerr was asked about the situation, but Kerr declined to answer. He did seem to shrug it off though after laughing it off.

“I don't have any comment on that,” Kerr told reporters while chuckling Monday. “Bogues is a media mogul now, I guess. So I'll take a look at that later but no, I got no comment on that one.”

NBA teams typically like to keep locker room issues on the down low and handle them internally. We'll see what happens as time goes on. For now, the Warriors aim to continue their playoff push as they take on the Washington Wizards on Friday night after coming off a big win against the Bucks on Tuesday.
