The Golden State Warriors are expected to have both Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston back on the court when they take on the Memphis Grizzlies Monday night.
Steve Kerr's team responded to the 20-point home loss to the Toronto Raptors earlier in the week by scoring a 130-125 win over the Sacramento Kings on Friday.
The Warriors will now return home to Oracle Arena for a matchup with the Grizzlies, and it sounds like they'll get two key role players back in the process, according to Anthony Slater of The Athletic:
Iguodala has been sidelined the past three games due to a hip injury, and he has averaged 4.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.0 assists while playing 23.4 minutes per game this season.
Meanwhile, Livingston did not play against the Kings due to a bruised pelvis, but it sounds like he'll be ready for the matchup against Memphis. He's posting 4.5 points, 2.2 assists, and 2.1 rebounds per contest during the '18-19 campaign.
With the Warriors also expected to get back star center DeMarcus Cousins back in the near future, it seems like this team may be set for a very successful run into the new year.
Golden State has had some struggles thus far this season, yet still sits at the top of the Western Conference standings along with the Denver Nuggets.
There's no doubt that Kerr would love to have his entire roster at his disposal entering a crucial part of the season, and with these two players back in the lineup, the Warriors should be able to pick up a lot of momentum over the next several weeks.
