NBA Christmas is upon us. And as we've seen over the past three seasons, we're going to get LeBron vs. the Warriors for the fourth straight Christmas Day special.

This is perhaps one of the most highly anticipated Christmas games in recent memory, especially now that LeBron James, the best player in the world, is on the NBA's marquee team, the Los Angeles Lakers. Pair that with him facing off against the league's most powerful team, the two-time defending champion Golden State Warriors, which he has faced in the NBA Finals the last four years, and you'd get a match-up that everybody would want to see.

In fact, the hype is so huge that the average ticket price for this colossal showdown is now the most expensive NBA Christmas ticket price of all time per TickPick, as relayed by Alex Kennedy of HoopsHype on Twitter.

On paper, the Warriors seem to have a sizable advantage over the Lakers. Golden State is a stacked team that features four All-Stars in Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson – a core that has spent several years together.

Los Angeles, on the other hand, is a newly-constructed LeBron-led team with a mixture of veterans like Rajon Rondo and Lance Stephenson, and young up-and-coming players like Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, and Kyle Kuzma. Thus, it isn't far-fetched to think that this game could be one-sided.

Nonetheless, it is still a showdown between the NBA's best team against the NBA's best player. Fans will surely tune in to watch this game, but it'll prove costly for those who'd like to see it live.
