When Doug Gottlieb isn't offering up head-scratching takes about college basketball players, he's appearing on The Herd with Colin Cowherd to discuss issues he sees with the Golden State Warriors.

“Kevin Durant, he's had no missteps in terms of things he's said off the basketball floor has he? It always feels like Steph Curry is a turned ankle away from missing a month and their bench is a disaster. Shaun Livingston finally looks old, Andre Iguodala has looked old, has looked oft-injured, and then news today that Pat McCaw who had been holding out as a restricted free agent signed for $800 thousand more with the Cleveland Cavaliers.”

Doug Gottlieb isn't completely wrong about the Warriors. They have issues, but the calendar has yet to flip to 2019. They have a lot of time to figure things out before it really matters.

It's fair to question the Warriors for how they've played so far this season. But let's be real, they're still the overwhelming favorites to win their third straight title.

When healthy, they'll have five All-Stars in their starting lineup and we all know rotations tighten once the playoffs start. So long as they stay healthy, they'll have an excellent chance at winning another title.

It's easy to become a prisoner of the moment when it looks like the Warriors are starting to falter. Depending on the offseason, this could be the last year where the Dubs are favorites at the start of the season. However, don't let that distract from the fact that this current Golden State lineup should win it all.
