Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green doesn't seem to care all that much about LeBron James being a member of the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Warriors grabbed their second straight win on Sunday night in dramatic fashion by earning a 129-127 victory over the L.A. Clippers, with Stephen Curry notching the game-winning bucket with less than one second left.
Now, the Warriors will turn their attention to a Christmas Day clash with the Lakers, who are coming off a 107-99 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
So, when asked about LeBron James being in a Laker uniform, Draymond Green provided a pretty straightforward answer.
Here's what Green had to say about the upcoming matchup, courtesy of Mark Medina of The Mercury News:
Green clearly isn't underestimating LeBron's abilities, but rather, he's simply stating that it doesn't matter what jersey he has on.
No matter what, the Warriors are well aware of the challenges that come along with trying to slow down LeBron James, and they'll try to do just that in the upcoming matchup at Oracle Arena.
As for Draymond Green, he's posted back-to-back 14-point performances while seemingly starting to find a groove in a lot of different areas on the court.
He'll continue to be an important part of the lineup due to his versatility on both sides of the court, and he will certainly be helpful in attempting to limit what LeBron and company are able to do offensively.
No matter what, it's going to be a must-see showdown between the two teams in Oakland.
