There's no denying that Draymond Green has put the Golden State Warriors in an unenviable situation due to his actions in their Game 2 loss against the Sacramento Kings. After delivering a painful foot stomp to Kings star big man Domantas Sabonis, the league has decided to punish Green with a one-game suspension that will now force him to sit out Game 3 on Thursday. This is obviously a must-win game for the Warriors after going down 0-2 in the series, and not having Draymond in the mix puts them at a real disadvantage against a very hungry Sacramento side.

For his part, however, Dubs head coach Steve Kerr has made it clear that he's standing with Draymond Green. The four-time NBA shot-caller delivered a strong message of support for his embattled star, while expressing how that team is also getting behind Green amid this most recent scandal:

“It's not anything that we can control,” Kerr said, via ClutchPoints on Twitter. “… He has crossed the line over the years, and that's part of it. We will go to bat for Draymond and go to battle with him every day of the week.”

As Steve Kerr said, this is all just part of who Draymond Green is. He brings so much to the table for the Warriors, and he has firmly established himself as one of the most important players on the squad throughout their dynasty run. Nevertheless, you have to take the good with the bad when it comes to Dray — and the Warriors are fine with that. Whether they will be able to pull off a win in Game 3 without Green in the mix, however, is an altogether different matter.
