Draymond Green exploded for a near triple-double against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, and the Golden State Warriors have the Michigan State Spartans to thank for that.

Apparently, watching his alma mater's football team destroy the Michigan Wolverines to stay undefeated and improve to 8-0 in the current college football season motivated Green even more. and the result of that? A 14-point, 11-rebound and 8-assist display from the do-it-all forward.

Speaking to reporters after his phenomenal game for the Warriors, Green shared how he “organically had a lot of energy” upon watching his Spartans.

“I like things to be organic. Today, we organically kicked their a–, and I organically had a lot of energy. … When Michigan State organically kicks scum a–, I organically fly around the court,” Green shared, per Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle.

The Warriors, obviously, won the game 103-82 with the motivated Draymond Green leading the way. Stephen Curry top-scored the Dubs with 20 points, but Green undoubtedly played the biggest role to help the team improve to 5-1 on the season.

Such performances are no longer new to Green, as he has always taken care of the other stuff on the floor while Curry and the rest of the team focus on scoring. And sure enough, his presence proved pivotal once again.

Hopefully, though, Green can stay as aggressive and hungry as he was on Saturday. Of course, as he said, that should happen organically so we get to see how peak Dray plays.
