The 43-17 Golden State Warriors might still be winning ballgames, but they've seriously missed the presence of two-way star Draymond Green, who hasn't played since January 9th due to a back injury.

While Draymond is still working his way back to 100 percent, the Warriors veteran took a big step towards doing so on Saturday, per head coach Steve Kerr.

The Warriors currently have the second-best record in the Association behind the Phoenix Suns but if Stephen Curry and Co. are going to make a legitimate run at a title, Green must be healthy. The 31-year-old is averaging 7.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 7.4 assists this season for the Dubs, serving as the team's best defender and playmaker.

In his absence, Steph has really stepped it up from a facilitating standpoint, but the defensive effort has definitely lacked at times for Kerr's squad, evening losing four of five prior to the All-Star break.

Although there is no clear timetable for Draymond quite yet, doing more high-intensity on-court work is absolutely crucial. Also, second-year big man James Wiseman was just recalled by the Warriors from G-League affiliate Santa Cruz. By the sounds of it, he could be in line for his season debut very soon here. With 22 games left in the campaign, the Dubs will be looking to get their roster to full strength just in time for what they hope is going to be a deep playoff run.
