Believe it or not, there's still some love to be lost between the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers. Asked for his thoughts on Los Angeles big man Montrezl Harrell after Golden State's 121-104 victory in Game 1, Draymond Green couldn't help but express admiration for his fellow former second-round pick.

“I respect a guy who get it out the mud. He's a guy who gets it out the mud,” Green said of Harrell, per ClutchPoints' Tomer Azarly. “No one expected Montrezl to be who he is in this league today and yet he’s put the work in that he's needed to put in, and he'll be in this league for a long time. Most importantly, I respect that.

“And he's a hustle guy,” Green continued. “Dives to the rim — probably one of the best rollers in the league out of a pick-and-roll. He's super physical. He finishes great around the rim. He came up with some offensive rebounds and finishes. One of the things that's underrated about him is his hands…He has great hands.”

It makes sense that Green would be so complementary of Harrell in the immediate aftermath of Game 1. Golden State just had no answer for the Sixth Man of the Year candidate, who scored a team-high 26 points to go along with five rebounds, two steals, and two blocks off the bench.

Don't hold your breath waiting for any more glowing assessments from opposing players in this series, by the way. Things were heated at Oracle Arena from the opening tip, and Kevin Durant and Patrick Beverley were ejected in the fourth quarter after their game-long back and forth nearly boiled over into a physical altercation.
