Miami Heat icon Dwyane Wade agrees with Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green's claims that there is a “double standard” among players regarding trade talks.

Some people slammed Green for his comments, noting that the players do have a job to honor the contract they've signed. However, Wade backed the Warriors star up and noted that “communication” and “respect” are of prime importance.

On NBA on TNT, Wade shared his thoughts regarding Green's rant regarding the lack of protection for players in the NBA. The future Hall of Famer cited general examples of how some players get the news that they were just traded from some external source, not from the team itself. For Wade, it is a sign of disrespect.

Dwyane Wade's comments came after Draymond Green's rant about the Andre Drummond-Cleveland Cavaliers fiasco after the Warriors' win on Monday. The Cavs placed Drummond in the trading block, a clear sign of their plan to move forward with Jarrett Allen as their main big man. Since reports reveal that Cleveland is not engaged in trade talks yet, Drummond is now stuck in an awkward limbo of sitting on the bench.

Note that Drummond is fully healthy and well-capable of playing.

“It’s the treatment of players in this league. To Watch Andre Drummond before the game sit on the sideline and go to the back and come out in street clothes because a team is going to trade him is b******t,” the Warriors forward said.

It's hard to blame Green for his outburst, though. After all, players like James Harden and Anthony Davis were booed by fans and scourged by the media for their trade requests. Draymond's former Warriors teammate, Harrison Barnes was traded by the Dallas Mavericks mid-game and had to sit down while trying to absorb the life-changing news.
