The Golden State Warriors' Oracle Arena has long been considered one of the best arenas in the NBA. It's incredibly animated and devoted sold-out crowd gets the already-potent attack by the perennial champions going on both ends of the floor, and discombobulating every team that takes the trip to Oakland.

It earned the nickname “Roaracle” for a reason and it shows. In fact, the venue has been awarded by the NBA Players Association (NBAPA) as having the “Best Homecourt Advantage” in 2017. Unfortunately, much like the arena's conditions, that advantage seems to be deteriorating. The Athletic's Anthony Slater reveals that the Warriors' earlier loss to the Boston Celtics is just another on the defending champions ongoing bad track record against Eastern Conference contenders this season.

But unlike the Oracle which will be gone after this season as the team moves on to a brand new base of operations in San Francisco, the Warriors have to make do with what they have and cure what is ailing them (on top of their East foes woes) en route to what they hope is one more banner (and the last) for the “Big O”. And they have to work on it soon with the Denver Nuggets close behind along with the red hot Houston Rockets, Portland Trail Blazers, and Thunder.

Then again given the fizzling home court advantage, maybe the number one seed isn't the priority anymore.
