Jordan Poole has been on quite a ride this season with the Golden State Warriors. Right now, the 22-year-old is just one win away from being an NBA champion.
On Wednesday, with a little more than 24 hours before the Warriors take on the Boston Celtics in Game 6 of the NBA Finals, Poole opened up about how he’s feeling right now. The 6-foot-4 shooting guard is about to embark on the most important game of his career thus far and he’s trying to just take it all in:
“Trying to have a good balance of still being locked in,” Poole said, via NBA on Twitter. “… Appreciate the moment and embracing everything. Being where your feet are and talking to these guys about this moment. Really accepting it is cool, obviously, but we’re here to win one more game, finish it. Hopefully, have a better plane ride back.”

There’s no denying that Jordan Poole has been integral to the Warriors’ success this season. He isn’t exactly playing his best basketball in the Finals, but he’s been more than willing to play the role he’s been asked to. It now appears that he’s about to reap the benefits of all his hard work.
