In a rather emotional parting message to the Golden State Warriors, Juan Toscano-Anderson shared how grateful he is to the franchise and what they have done in his development as a player and jump to becoming an NBA champion.

After it was made clear that the Warriors cannot keep him as the team manages their finances to reduce luxury tax, JTA signed with the Los Angeles Lakers in the first day of free agency. He joined LA on a veteran's minimum deal, as the Purple and Gold attempts to surround LeBron James and their core with younger and more athletic players.

On Twitter, Toscano-Anderson thanked the Warriors for giving him the opportunity to live out his NBA dream. While he regrets not being able to continue his journey with the team, he highlighted his excitement to join another franchise with title aspirations.

“All good things do come to an end-for new ones to start. Dub Nation I can’t thank y’all enough. The experience I had at home was something I’ll never forget. So many things culminated from this experience, & I’m forever thankful!” Toscano-Anderson wrote.

“But with all that said, I’m extremely excited to be a Laker. New opportunities, new chapter of my life. The story is still being written!”

Juan Toscano-Anderson's departure from the Warriors didn't come as a surprise. Heading to free agency, it was reported that he and Damion Lee were in real danger of losing their spots on the Dubs' roster.

The Mexican-American forward didn't get a lot of playing time during their 2022 NBA title run, but he certainly showed flashes of his potential throughout the season. Hopefully, though, he'll get more chance with the Lakers.
