Things aren't looking up for the Golden State Warriors right now. Kelly Oubre Jr has been dealing with an injury on his left wrist, and apparently, he's going to be spending more time on the shelf because of the problem.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Oubre reaggravated the wrist injury by trying to play through it:
Warriors’ Kelly Oubre Jr. has a torn ligament in his left wrist and a fracture on the palm, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Oubre reaggravated his wrist on April 9, missed 11 days and returned for five games, attempting to play through the injury and compete on the floor.

Kudos to Oubre for playing through the pain, but on this particular occasion, it looks like he rushed his return. This has resulted in the 25-year-old re-injuring his wrist and he is now set to be sidelined for an extended period.
To be clear, the Warriors have yet to provide a timetable on Oubre's injury. Golden State has labeled it as nothing more than a “sore left wrist,” but it looks like there's more to this injury than the team has led on thus far. Based on Shams' report, however, it sounds like this is going to be a lengthy spell on the sidelines for Oubre and he's likely going to be sidelined indefinitely with this recent development.
The Warriors just can't catch a break. They lost prized rookie James Wiseman to a season-ending knee injury not too long ago, and they are now set to lose another starter. This comes at a terrible time for the Dubs who are in the midst of an all-out race for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Stephen Curry has been in MVP form of late, but even the GOAT shooter has his limits.
