It's no secret that Klay Thompson loves the ocean. The Golden State Warriors guard was often spotted around the bay riding his boat around. Ahead of a crucial Game 5 matchup against the Celtics in the Finals, though, Thompson decided to be a bit more… hands-on with the water.

A story from Klay Thompson's Instagram showed Warriors fans a pretty awesome image. In the story, Klay was seen taking a dip in the ocean, with the caption, “The ocean heals the mind, body, and soul.” (via NBCWarriors on Twitter)

Prior to his return from injury, Klay has often been spotted taking a leisurely ride along the ocean in his boat. He even joined in the tradition of watching a San Francisco Giants home game from the ocean, urging Brandon Crawford to hit a ball his way. Knowing the Warriors star, he would've dove into the ocean if a ball did head over his way.

Klay Thompson has had a rather up-and-down series in the Finals so far. The Warriors star has had some incredible shooting games (Game 2 at home stands out), but he's also disappeared from some pretty important games. Unlike in years past, Thompson hasn't been the consistent deep threat that he was before.

Still, Klay is long overdue for one of his classic insane performances in the playoffs. He's just way too good of a shooter to struggle for this long. Who knows? With Game 6 guaranteed to happen, the Warriors may get to experience the legendary Game 6 Klay to close out the series (or save the series).
