Klay Thompson's journey back to the court for the Golden State Warriors is nothing short of inspiring. His resiliency and tireless work to come back from two major injuries led to him competing for his fourth championship, along with Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, in the 2022 NBA Finals.

The Warriors will host Game 5 of the Finals against the Boston Celtics on the three-year anniversary of Thompson tearing his ACL. He missed all of next season and tore his Achilles to miss the next one. He was away from the game for two full seasons after spending his whole career to that point as one of the less injury-prone players.

The day before Game 5 in San Francisco, Thompson reflected on the emotions from the day he sustained his ACL injury. Not being available for the Warriors for so long was tough to come to terms with. Going right into rehab was tough, but through all the hardships, he said that he wouldn't change any of it.

Thompson played just 32 regular-season games this season and has not missed a single playoff game. The Warriors getting their All-Star back has allowed them to compete at a very high level again. They missed the playoffs in the two seasons Thompson missed.

Curry mentions the immense sense of gratitude that Thompson and the team have for making it back to the Finals. Green, meanwhile, insisted that the Warriors are focused on the task at hand and don't want to reflect on a sad time for the team.

Fortunately, the Warriors are far removed from Klay Thompson's injuries. He has been a very important contributor during the NBA Finals. As Green said, Thompson enjoying the moment and keeping himself ready for the next game.
