Golden State Warriors All-Star shooting guard Klay Thompson is rehabbing his left ACL injury with his “loyal” dog Rocco.

Rehabs can be very boring and lonely. Luckily for Thompson, he's got his best friend Rocco by his side.

Klay Thompson is expected to follow a standard recovery time for an ACL injury of 5-to-7 months. The Warriors aren't going to rush Thompson back under any circumstance, especially after signing the sharpshooter to a five-year max contract worth $190 million.

Dogs are man's best friend. Everyone who follows the Warriors knows Rocco is the most important thing in Thompson's life besides basketball. The good boy is going to keep Thompson company throughout this rigorous rehab process.

This past season, Thompson averaged 21.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists for the Warriors. The five-time All-Star shot 46.7 percent from the field, 40.2 percent from beyond the arc and 81.6 percent from the free-throw line.

In the 2019 playoffs, Thompson put up 20.7 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists. The Warriors lost to the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Finals in six games. Thompson tore his ACL in Game 6 at Oracle Arena.

Golden State was luckily able to acquire All-Star point guard D'Angelo Russell from the Brooklyn Nets in the sign-and-trade deal involving Kevin Durant. While Thompson is out, Russell and Stephen Curry will lead the Dubs' offense.
