The Golden State Warriors were completely humiliated on Friday that even the injured Klay Thompson had to come out of his state of slumber.

After his team was absolutely embarrassed by the Toronto Raptors in what turned out to be a 53-point loss, Thompson was unsurprisingly irate following the historic blowout.

According to Warriors veteran Kent Bazemore, Thompson was visibly (and perhaps audibly, too) upset by how his team performed on Friday night:

Klay Thompson was actually with the team as they flew to Tampa to take on the Raptors. He was even seen getting a few shots up before tip-off in full Warriors pre-game attire. His road to recovery from an unfortunate season-ending Achilles injury appears to be right on track, but this absolute embarrassment of a loss will surely make him want to return to action as soon as humanly possible.

To be clear, Thompson still isn't expected to return this season. He's making good progress, though, and he should be ready to go for the Warriors' opening game for the 2021-22 campaign.

For what it's worth, both Stephen Curry (tailbone) and Draymond Green (finger, hip) were out of action in the game. Both stars are listed as day-to-day and should be able to return to action sooner rather than later. Golden State's first opportunity to bounce back comes on Sunday when they take on Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks.

You can be sure that both Curry and Green–if they're healthy enough–will enter that game with some extra motivation as they look to avenge Friday's drubbing.
