Draymond Green got a bit sentimental on Wednesday as he faces the prospect of winning his fourth championship with the Golden State Warriors. The Dubs are now just one win away from another title and Green could not help but get a bit emotional as he looked back on the tremendous journey he's been on with the Warriors.

Green reflected on how he's enjoyed the ride with his teammates, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. According to the Warriors talisman, they've built an unbreakable bond:

“This journey wouldn't be the same without those two guys for me, and Andre as well,” Green said, via ClutchPoints on Twitter. “… I couldn't imagine sharing this journey with anyone else. We've always said, we've built this thing from the ground up… Our bond, it stretches far past what we've accomplished on the basketball court. Those bonds will last forever. We're linked and connected together forever. So, to know that we've been on this journey together now for ten years, it's such a special thing.”

Just moments after Green's emotional message, Warriors star Klay Thompson was asked to comment about his teammate's reflection. Well, Klay didn't exactly have the same experience of that plane ride:

“That happened like 2 days ago. I was half asleep,” Thompson said. “Draymond and Bob were chatting their hearts away for six hours on a plane ride, and I was just trying to get some sleep. Good times.”

For his part, Curry acknowledged Green's sentiments. The Warriors superstar also couldn't help but have a bit of a laugh off of Thompson's rather expected take:

“It's been 10, 11 years. There's a lot of stories and a lot of comedy on the daily that we could talk about,” Curry said. “…  Klay has a great way of explaining that. I just love his perspective on a lot of things.”

This is all hilarious and it's true that Klay Thompson certainly has a unique way of looking at things. One more thing you can say is that we're likely not going to see another trio like this one. Maybe not ever.
