NBA legend Reggie Miller is just being realistic: he doesn't think anyone will be able to break the 3-point record of Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry.

Heading to Tuesday's game against the New York Knicks, Curry is just two 3-pointers away from breaking Ray Allen's all-time record of 2973 triples. He is expected to claim the throne as the NBA's 3-point shooting king at MSG, and when he does, Miller doesn't see anyone from taking his place.

In an upcoming recorded interview with Curry, Miller shared his belief that it would be virtually impossible for anyone to get close to Curry's record. While the Warriors guard mentioned the likes of James Harden, Klay Thompson, Damian Lillard and Buddy Hield as potential threats, Miller thinks otherwise.

“Go to Vegas,” Miller said when Curry said he likes his chances of keeping the record forever but won't bet on it. “This is one NBA record that will never–you heard it–never be touched.”

Stephen Curry is already the considered the GOAT shooter, so Reggie Miller is not exaggerating when he expressed his belief that the Warriors superstar's record would never be broken.

Miller is also perhaps speaking on sharpshooter standpoint. He previously held the record before Ray Allen broke it in 2011, so he definitely knows what it takes to accumulate such number of triples.

Of course as Curry mentioned, every era is different and there might come a time that a player comes who is capable of breaking Curry's record. However, Miller doesn't think that person has been born yet.

Will Curry's record stand alongside Wilt Chamberlain's 100 points as some of the NBA records that are near impossible to break By the way things are looking at and with Curry still has a ton of gas left in the tank, it's safe to bet on it.
